It is unlawful for any person to sell, serve, give away, dispose of, exchange or <br />deliver, or to permit the sale, serving, giving or procuring of any alcohol <br />beverage to or for any person under the age of 21 years. <br />Sec. 9.72.03450. Signs to be posted on premises where alcohol beverages are <br />sold. <br />It shall be the duty of the person who is the proprietor or keeper of a place of <br />business which sells, serves, or disposes of alcohol beverages to post <br />conspicuously in his place of business the following sign: "PERSONS UNDER <br />THE AGE OF 21 YEARS NOT SERVED HERE." Failure to so post such sign <br />shall constitute an unlawful act. <br />Sec. 9.72.44060. Signs to be posted in alcohol beverage establishments. <br />It shall be the duty of any person who is the proprietor or keeper of any <br />premises licensed to sell alcohol beverages at retail to post conspicuously in his <br />place of business the following sign: "MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 21 <br />YEARS NOT ALLOWED HERE UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY PARENTS." <br />Failure to so post such sign shall constitute an unlawful act. <br />Sec. 9.72.05470. Selling liquor near schools prohibited. <br />It is unlawful to sell or offer, or to expose for sale or gift, fermented malt <br />beverages, or any malt, vinous, or spirituous Or -malt -liquors within a distance of <br />500 feet from any private, public, or parochial school, such distance to be <br />computed by direct measurement from the nearest property lines. Provided, <br />however, that this prohibition shall not affect the rights of any person, firm, or <br />corporation holding a lawful permit or license to conduct such business within <br />the restricted area established by this section prior to the effective date of the <br />ordinance codified in this chapter; nor shall this prohibition prevent the renewal, <br />upon the expiration thereof, of any license in effect at the time of the effective <br />date of the ordinance codified in this chapter authorizing such business within <br />the restricted area established by this section. <br />Sec. 9.72.080. Violation; penalty. <br />Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to the <br />penalty provided in section 1.28.010. <br />Section 3.
