All in favor. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br />APPROVAL OF CHANGE IN TIME FOR COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Fauson called for comments from the audience on any items not listed on the <br />agenda. <br /> <br />John Hansen, Vice President Louisville Arts & Humanities Council, 504 W. Spruce Street, <br />Louisville, CO 80027 <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen gave Council a report on the activities for the Arts & Humanities Council for <br />1991. (Attachment A). 1991 was the first full year of operation for the Art Center and in <br />addition to the events on the attachment, it saw considerable use as a rehearsal site for the <br />Coal Creek Community Theater, Louisville Art Association hosted 4 exhibits; newly formed <br />International Creative Marketry Society meets there and is planning an annual event. Mr. <br />Hansen thanked the Council for the use of the facility and the cooperation with activities. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen discussed usage and issues raised about scheduling of the building. An advisory <br />committee has been made up of representatives of the groups that utilize the Art Center <br />also a Community Wide Building Restoration Committee that the center is hoping to fund <br />will begin to refurbish the Community Center. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - HONORING MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY, JANUARY 20, 1992 <br /> <br />Mayor Fauson proclaimed January 20, 1992 as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Mr. Paul <br />Scott accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Committee for the Observance of Martin <br />Luther King Day in Louisville. <br /> <br />SENATE BILL 91-22 - OPEN MEETINGS - DESIGNATION OF PUBLIC PLACE OR <br />PLACES FOR POSTING NOTICES OF PUBLIC MEETINGS. <br /> <br />Griffiths informed Council that state law requires that the Council designate the public <br />place or places for posting notices of public meetings at its first meeting of each calendar <br />year. The recommendation of the City Administrator is to continue the posting in the <br />glassed-in bulletin board on the south wall in the entry way to City Hall. The entry way <br />is open 24 hours a day and any posted notices would be available to public access at all <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
