<br />PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Louisville, Colorado will conduct a special election on Tuesday, the 8 day of November
<br />2016, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Said election will be coordinated with Boulder County and will be conducted as a
<br />countywide mail ballot election. The designated election official for the City of Louisville is Meredyth Muth, City Clerk, 749 Main Street, Louisville,
<br />Colorado 80027, 303.335.4536. Additional information is available at BoulderCountyVotes.org.

<br />At said election, the registered electors of the City of Louisville will vote on the following city ballot issues:

<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE
<br />BALLOT ISSUE 2A
<br />
<br />SHALL CITY OF LOUISVILLE DEBT BE INCREASED $28,600,000, WITH A REPAYMENT COST OF UP TO $45,400,000; AND SHALL CITY
<br />OF LOUISVILLE TAXES BE INCREASED UP TO $1,820,000 ANNUALLY, OR BY SUCH LESSER AMOUNT AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO
<br />PAY SUCH DEBT FROM AN ADDITIONAL AD VALOREM PROPERTY TAX MILL LEVY NOT TO EXCEED 3.350 MILLS TO BE IMPOSED
<br />FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED TWENTY FIVE YEARS; SUCH DEBT AND TAXES TO BE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING,
<br />EXPANDING AND RENOVATING THE LOUISVILLE RECREATION/SENIOR CENTER AND THE POOL FACILITIES AT MEMORY SQUARE
<br />PARK, TO INCLUDE ALL NECESSARY LAND, EQUIPMENT, FURNISHINGS, IMPROVEMENTS AND INCIDENTALS FOR SUCH
<br />FACILITIES; SUCH DEBT TO BE EVIDENCED BY THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS OR BONDS ISSUED TO REFUND SUCH BONDS; SUCH
<br />BONDS TO BE SOLD IN ONE SERIES OR MORE IN AN AGGREGATE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM AUTHORIZED
<br />PRINCIPAL AMOUNT AND REPAYMENT COSTS, ON TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS THE CITY COUNCIL MAY DETERMINE, INCLUDING
<br />PROVISIONS FOR THE REDEMPTION OF THE BONDS PRIOR TO MATURITY WITH OR WITHOUT PAYMENT OF A PREMIUM; AND
<br />SHALL THE PROCEEDS OF ANY SUCH DEBT AND TAXES, AND ANY INVESTMENT INCOME THEREON, BE COLLECTED AND SPENT
<br />AS A VOTER-APPROVED REVENUE CHANGE AND AN EXCEPTION TO LIMITS WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE APPLY UNDER ARTICLE

<br />SHALL CITY OF LOUISVILLE TAXES BE INCREASED $575,000 IN 2018 AND THEN ANNUALLY BY WHATEVER ADDITIONAL AMOUNTS
<br />ARE RAISED THEREAFTER FROM THE LEVY OF AN ADDITIONAL SALES AND USE TAX OF 0.15 PERCENT BEGINNING JANUARY 1,
<br />2018 AND CONTINUING THEREAFTER; WITH SUCH TAX TO BE IMPOSED ONLY IF REFERRED MEASURE 2A, REFERRED TO
<br />REGISTERED ELECTORS OF THE CITY AT THE NOVEMBER 8, 2016, ELECTION, IS APPROVED BY A MAJORITY OF SUCH ELECTORS;
<br />WITH THE NET PROCEEDS OF SUCH SALES AND USE TAX TO BE COLLECTED, RETAINED AND SPENT FOR OPERATING AND
<br />MAINTAINING THE LOUISVILLE RECREATION/SENIOR CENTER AND POOL FACILITIES AT MEMORY SQUARE PARK; AND SHALL THE
<br />CITY BE PERMITTED TO COLLECT, RETAIN AND EXPEND ALL REVENUES DERIVED FROM SUCH SALES AND USE TAX AS A VOTER-
<br />APPROVED REVENUE CHANGE AND AN EXCEPTION TO LIMITS WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE APPLY UNDER ARTICLE X, SECTION 20

<br />Elections in Colorado are conducted by mail ballot with Voter Service and Polling Centers available for those who would like additional
<br />assistance or prefer to vote in person. All active registered voters will be automatically mailed a ballot the week of October 17 to the address
<br />listed on their voter registration. Voters who do not receive a ballot should call Boulder County Elections at 303.413.7740 for instructions.
<br />
<br />If you need to register or update your voter registration, please do so at GoVoteColorado.com. The Boulder County Clerk and Recorder
<br />recommends all voters review their information to ensure the mailing address is correct. If you make a mistake, damage or lose your ballot, you
<br />may request a replacement ballot by emailing Vote@BoulderCountyVotes.org, calling 303.413.7740, or visiting a Voter Service and Polling
<br />Center.

<br />Ballots received after 7 p.m. on Election Day will not be counted. Postmarks do not count as a received date.
<br />Ballots must be returned to the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, November 8) in order for
<br />your votes to be counted. Voters may return their ballot by mail or by dropping it off at any designated ballot drop-off location or Voter Service
<br />and Polling Center. After returning a ballot, voters may verify their ballot was received by visiting BoulderCountyVotes.org.
