Joss:

The preliminary projection for the
size of the facility is large enough
to hold two ambulances, living
quarters, offices, a meeting room,
and maybe an additional office for
the Fire Protection District.

Lathrop:

Because of the relationship between
emergency services, I can see an
ambulance service and a Fire
District service co-existing very
comfortably, so long as there is
some at market lease arrangement
with the Fire District. I am
concerned about the substantial
change in use, or at least the
substantial number of calls that
would respond out of that facility
and the impact upon the neighbors.
I would be concerned about the
amount of noise and the restrictions
that might be applied to that until
you're out of that neighborhood.

Hornbostel:

I have a concern about the diesel
fuel, the storage of the diesel
fuel, it being in the middle of a
residential area, and what kind of
mitigation they would do to make
that a safe area.

Joss:

At this point the Power District has
no storage capacity for bulk fuels
and I don't believe A-1 has any on
their site either. We buy it from
the regular retailers. The Fire
Marshall is not very fond of "on
site" storage facilities.

Sisk inquired if A-1 Ambulance was presently housed in leased
space.

Tom Nelson, 863 W. Chestnut, Louisville, CO, General Manager of A-1
Ambulance.

Nelson:

Yes. We're at 1400 Main Street.

Sisk:

Is there a rental benefit from you
being housed with the Fire District?

Nelson:

Bruce Joss spoke very well on the
entire subject. The current place
