I ` Cityof <br />r Louisville <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />Memorandum <br />To: Rob Zuccaro, Planning & Building Safety Department Director <br />From: Allan Gill, RLA, and Park's Project Manager <br />Date: February 8, 2017 <br />Re: Coal Creek Corporate Center 1, Final Planned Unit <br />Development, Coal Creek Business Park (Medtronic) <br />The Parks & Recreation Department has reviewed the Final PUD submittal with revision date of <br />January 27, 2017 and has the following comments: <br />Summary: <br />Reference sheet 2 of 16, the Site Plan for the proposed trail alignment. A conservation easement held <br />by the City is adjacent to the property on the south and east sides. Per the conservation easement the <br />grantee is to construct a trail and maintain if for a period of one year and then turn it over to the City. <br />The grantee is showing proposed trail alignments, a trail head and shared parking for Coal Creek Trail <br />Access on the Site Plan. The shared parking area shall have shared parking signs designed and <br />provided by the City and installed by the property owner. The proposed trail on the east side of the <br />property is about 150 linear feet and the proposed trail on the west side is about 20 linear feet. <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal with regard to this issue and has the following comments: <br />1. Staff is in support of the trail alignments, trail head and shared parking for Coal Creek Trail <br />access. <br />Staff recommendations are subject to review and comment by the Open Space Advisory Board <br />(OSAB). <br />OSAB concurs with staff recommendations on comment #1 <br />Parks Board Comments: <br />Yes No <br />OSAB recommends the following with regard to the Coal Creek Corporate Center, Coal Creek <br />Business Park Final PUD (Medtronic). <br />10 <br />
