2. The NPO must have adopted a written nondiscrimination policy that is acceptable to the <br />City. <br />3. All City Assistance provided by the City to the NPO will be limited to the type, amount, <br />extent, and purpose that are approved by the City Manager or his or her designee. <br />4. City funds shall not be used by the NPO for advocacy or sectarian purposes. <br />5. At the discretion of the City, an NPO may enter into a Memorandum of Understanding <br />with the City to identify the assistance the City will provide. <br />Miscellaneous <br />1. <br />2. Louisville NPOs do not and shall not act or purport to act for the City or its boards or <br />commissions, and the City and its boards or commissions do not and shall not act or purport to act for <br />any Louisville NPO. <br />3. Neither the City nor any Louisville NPO may represent a Louisville NPO as a City <br />organization or a City -sponsored organization in any written or verbal form. <br />4. Although City boards and commissions must abide by open records and open meetings <br />laws, Louisville NPOs need not do so. <br />5. Meetings of all City boards and commissions shall be held at times that are distinct from <br />those of any related NPO. If the meetings of both are held on the same day, there shall be a distinct and <br />documented break between those meetings. <br />6. At the sole discretion of the City Manager or his or her designee, City staff members <br />may attend meetings of NPOs, including related NPOs of the boards or commissions to which they <br />provide support. <br />7. This Policy does not limit or change any requirements for City officers, <br />Board/Commission Member or employees under the City Code of Ethics. <br />
