SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE MONTH ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2016 Penney Bolte, Tax Manager, presented to the Committee the sales tax reports for the month and year ended December 31, 2016. Manager Bolte presented the Committee a confidential listing of uncollectable accounts and requested Finance Committee approval to write-off $236.35 in receivables. The Finance Committee unanimously approved the write-offs. The reports and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the February 20, 2017 Finance Committee Meeting. CASH & INVESTMENTS AS OF JANUARY 31, 2017 Tax Manager Bolte presented the monthly report from Chandler Asset Management to the Finance Committee Members. LIST OF BILLS SCHEDULED FOR COUNCIL APPROVAL ON FEBRUARY 20, 2017 Tax Manager Bolte presented the list of bills. Finance Committee Chairperson Stolzmann asked if the payments for Building Plan Review and Inspections were typical. City Manager Fleming stated this work had been outsourced during the time of staff shortage in the Planning and Building Department, but should not continue now that the areas are fully staffed.
