Construction shall not commence until the Developer or <br />Contractor has been issued a notice to proceed by the City <br />Engineer of the City of Louisville ( hereinafter Engineer). <br />2. All work performed and all materials furnished shall comply <br />with the City of Louisville Design and Construction Standards, <br />latest edition. <br />3. The Contractor shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all <br />charges and fees and give all notices necessary and incidental to <br />the due and lawful prosecution of the project. Prior to <br />beginning work the Contractor shall furnish the Engineer a <br />written list of all permits required for the proper completion of <br />the project. The Contractor shall furnish to the Engineer, <br />copies of the fully executed permits. <br />4. The Inspector must be notified at least 24 hours prior to any <br />construction. <br />5. Sewer pipe shall be rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) ASTM <br />D3034 with wall thickness SDR35. <br />6. Water line shall be polyvinyl chloride (PVC) conforming to <br />AWWA C-900, CL150 or ductile iron pipe (DIP) in conforming with <br />ANSI A21.51, with polywrap. Deflections to be per AWWA C600. <br />7. All storm drainage infrastructure shall be_ in conformance with <br />the Louisville Storm Drainage Design and Technical Criteria Manual. <br />8. Paving contractor shall adjust all manholes and valve boxes <br />to be 1/4* lower than final street grade. <br />9. All vertical control is based on tI a City of Louisville <br />datum. <br />10. In no instance shall a trench extend beneath an existing <br />sidewalk or curb. The pipe must be bored, or jacked through the <br />earth under the curb or sidewalk. <br />11. It shall be the contractors responsibility to satisfy himself <br />that all existing utilities, whether shown on these plans or not, <br />have been properly located. Further, it shall be the <br />responsibility of the contractor to protect existing utility <br />lines, both those shown and those not shown on the plans. <br />12. The construction site shall be protected by a 3' high <br />silt fence at all times during construction. <br />13. Developments in the Colorado Technological Center (CTC) are <br />oc a sole source supply line for water. ;Those locating in the park <br />are srbject to interruptions of service in case of emergincies or <br />unavoidable maintenance activities that affect the sole source <br />feed to the CTC." <br />14. Developments in the CTC are on a sole source supply line <br />for water which may, in the near future, be inadequate to meet <br />demand during times of peak usage within the CTC. <br />15. The Contractor shall have a copy of the City of Louisville <br />Design and Construction Standards, latest edition, and a complete <br />set of approved plans on site at all times. Failure to comply with <br />this provision will result In suspension of wouk until this provision <br />has been met. <br />16. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the work <br />area, including erosion control, until final acciptance is granted by <br />the City. The Contractor shall clean the work area including <br />adjacent public streets on a dialy basis. <br />17. The Contractor shall provide materials testing In accordance <br />with the City of Louisville Design and Construction Standards. <br />Compaction of all trenches must be attained and compaction test <br />results submitted to the City of Louisville Department of Public <br />Works prior to Construction acceptance. <br />18. No deciduous trees shall be planter within five (5) feet and <br />coniferous tree within ten (10) feet of a public sidewalk or utility. <br />19. The property owner shall remove and replace any existing curb <br />and gutter that has settled or is otherwise damaged adjacent to <br />the site. <br />20.
