Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />March 27, 2017 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />Chief Hayes reported the police department has seen an increase in <br />marijuana violations. The impact of legalization is now being realized by the <br />department. The amount of arrests for driving under the influence of drugs <br />may not seem significant to bigger cities, but is to Louisville. There have <br />been no direct ties back to the stores in town. A summary of the number of <br />arrests for DUI and marijuana arrests will be presented to the Authority at the <br />next meeting. The directive for the officers when faced with drugs, alcohol <br />and mental health issues will be made available for the Authority. <br />Sergeant Redard noted there are some reports being reviewed to be <br />forwarded to the Authority soon. <br />Authority members thanked the Chief. <br />C. Discussion/Direction/Action - Renewal Application — La Revolucion <br />LLC d/b/a La Revolucion — Tavern Liquor License — 701 Main St. <br />Attorney Culley noted the licensee has filed for bankruptcy; the State has <br />seized the business and she described the action the Authority might take. <br />Watson moved the Authority approve the renewal of the liquor license for La <br />Revolucion. Tennessen seconded. All in favor. Absent: Carlson and <br />Machado. <br />Police Department Reports <br />No additional report. <br />Secretary's Report <br />Hanson noted the spring open government training and the members who need <br />to attend. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />No report. <br />Authority Comment <br />None. <br />Adjourn — Tennessen moved to adjourn.
