Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 6:32 pm by Jamie Bartlett. Meeting Minutes <br />taken by Justine Vigil -Tapia <br />a. Roll Call: (Members present in bold): Mary Ann Heaney, Mark Persichetti; Justine Vigil - <br />Tapia; Jamie Bartlett; Marianne Martin, Allison Johanson, Dan Delahunty, City -Staff Liaison <br />Dave Szabados; City -Council Liaison Bob Muckle for Jay Keany. Public Members RJ Harrington <br />b. Approval of Current -Meeting's Agenda: Approved without changes. <br />c. Approval of Meeting Minutes: The minutes from the March meeting approved with name <br />corrections for: Lea Yancey and Mary Ann Heaney. <br />d. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />Mark <br />• Resource Conservation Center — RFP process is going on for operations contract. Had <br />PACE meeting with Chamber, working to announce Green Business Program at an <br />earlier time this year. Partners in Energy interested in having LSAB members participate. <br />The next conference call is scheduled for May 2 from 10-11 a.m. Mark will forward the <br />details. Dave Szabados is representative for the city. <br />RJ <br />• Partners in Energy implementation has started; currently focusing on large size <br />businesses. A discussion going on with Xcel to look at what a partnership means and <br />looks like. <br />e. Jay's Minute (provided by Mayor Muckle): <br />• Some community garden plots available. Allison will work with garden website contact to <br />create a link on the city page. <br />• Solid waste contract — working on the scoring criteria well in advance of bid process; <br />leveraging lessons learned from 2014. Western Disposal did a study and there is <br />opportunity to improve composting. Looking at ways to include HOA's and businesses <br />(participation and reporting options). <br />• Mark provided information about the Boulder County tracking program — city to look into <br />this. <br />f. Dave's Minute: Provided update on PiE meetings; have good representation from the city staff. <br />Rec Center Update — significant drawings are complete and project is over budget; will need to make <br />some changes. Energy efficiency is still under evaluation with ROI choices being looked at. Next <br />public meeting on this is May 4.
