RESOLUTION NO. 33 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT MASTER PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville Police Department is an integral part of the City <br />of Louisville; and <br />WHEREAS, the services and management of the Police Department are critical to <br />the safety of the residents of Louisville; and <br />WHEREAS, one of the City Council's goals is for the Police and other City staff to <br />work with the community to help ensure safety; satisfy residents' expectations that <br />individuals observe the City's Municipal Code and State Law; and that the justice <br />system is fair, effective and efficient, and <br />WHEREAS, the mission of the Louisville Police Department is to work with the <br />Louisville community to provide a safe and secure city through education, enforcement, <br />and investigative services, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville Police staff had developed a master plan with <br />strategies and initiatives to address the provision of emergency and non -emergency <br />services to our residents, and <br />' WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the Police Master Plan and finds the <br />Master Plan should be approved, without condition. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby approve the Police Master Plan. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this Sth day of Judy, 2017. <br />11%%tM1JLRobe P.
