City Council Finance Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />05/15/17 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />Kevin Watson, Finance Director presented the Finance Committee the list of bills <br />to be approved by City Council May 16, 2017. <br />Finance Committee Chairperson Stolzmann asked if all the Impact Fee refunds <br />have been paid. Deputy City Manager Balser and Finance Director Watson stated <br />they have all been issued. Director Watson informed the Finance Committee the <br />City would be restating its 2015 Financial Statements to reflect the $167,600 in <br />refunds, and also that the City's auditors, Eide Bailley, agreed to review the <br />process used to calculate the impact fees by Planning/Building Safety staff. <br />The list of bills can be located in the packet of the May 15, 2017 Finance <br />Committee Meeting. <br />SPECIAL FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING <br />A special Finance Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24, 2017 <br />at 7:30 a.m. <br />Items scheduled for discussion at the special meeting include: <br />• Preliminary Draft of 2017 Budget Amendment <br />Finance Director Watson stated that he was still waiting for several department <br />narratives, but hopes to receive them soon. <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING <br />The next regular Finance Committee Meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 12, <br />2017 at 6:00 p.m. <br />Items scheduled for discussion at the next meeting include: <br />• Key Performance Indicators <br />• Financial Statements for the Month Ended May 31, 2017 <br />• Sales Tax Report for the Month Ended April 30, 2017 <br />• Cash & Investment Report as of May 31, 2017 <br />• List of Bills <br />Finance Director Watson stated that several items still remain on the Finance <br />Committee Work Plan for 2nd quarter, including a demo of the Public Works Lucity <br />Asset Management Software and the Non -Profit Grants. Deputy City Manager <br />Balser stated she attended the Legal Committee meeting noting that City Attorney <br />Sam Light would be providing the language for a non-discrimination clause that <br />will need to be incorporated into this year's grant applications. <br />
