COMMENTS
A number in parenthesis in the listing below identifies the number of times an identical comment
was written on the survey forms.
Administration Comments
• Was not aware of the Website.
• City Administrator more concerned about keeping Mayor/Council pleased than serving the public.
• The amount of information you put out is fantastic.
• All they seem to care about is commercial growth.
• City should be more consistent with weed code enforcement.
• poor development plans
• Lake Park was poorly handled.
• Publicize the Website and TV channel info. (3)
• Elected officials are pushing their own personal agendas first instead of the agendas of those they are
representing.
• City officials sold out to developers and made Louisville into an ugly little Arvada.
• Need much more regular information in Community Update on Parks/open space plans
• Newsletter should be more informative and include map of Ward boundaries.
• Please post City council minutes on web site.
• Unreasonable about downtown development.
• Town employees are always defensive - regardless of the query.
• If you don't have access to technology, there is no way to get info.
• Not supporting small town atmosphere
• Stop retail/business growth
• Difficult to work with
• All staff should work more closely with citizens
• Poor response on service requests
• Should not have decisions in architecture
• Needs to be more visible and get public involved
• City has grown faster than charter allows
• Not in touch with the average Louisville resident.
• Need to limit growth (2)
• unresponsive
Public World Comments
• The water here has enough iron in it to stain the sidewalks.
• Need more continuous bike paths and to sweep bike lanes and shoulders more frequently
• Streets ok, sidewallcs/curb not repaired as soon as needed
• Public Works Dept refuses to address traffic calming methods that are necessary.
• Level of cleanliness is impressive and many people value that.
• West Pine street speed limit should be 40mph.
• Too often I see sweeping where not needed.
• Cleanup sand in bike lanes after snow. Better leaf pickup program in fall
• Handicap access on sidewalks needs attention.
• Some street signs need to be larger for night reading
• Need timed lights at 36 off ramp
• McCaslin needs more work on surface. Traffic lights need attention.
• Street sweeper makes houses and yards more dirty.
• Pedestrian crossings need attention.
• Roads need more attention. (4)
Page -26-
