Jacoe Store
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Jacoe Store is located at 1001 Main Street in Louisville, Colorado.
The goal for this Historic Structure Assessment is to determine the restoration and rehabilitation needs of the Jacoe
Store and their associated costs. The assessment will be used to guide decisions about improvements and
rehabilitation activities, and will be a planning tool for additional capital funding.
1.1 Research Background / Participants
Bret Johnson Architecture was commissioned by the City of Louisville to prepare the assessment.
Data for the assessment are based primarily on field investigation of the building. The field investigation for the report
was conducted on January 23, 2017. The weather conditions were partly cloudy to overcast and 40° at the time of the
field investigation.
The project was paid for by a Louisville Historic Preservation Fund grant.
`.
