Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 17, 2004 <br />Page 9 of 11 <br /> <br />George Menkick, 11933 West 83rd Lane, Arvada, CO, stated he owns 47 of the 81 acres <br />of discussed in the Louisville/Superior IGA. He stated it appears to be an issue of <br />obtaining the most revenue verses the quality of the type of development. He voiced his <br />opinion that the decision should rightfully be the Town of Superior's. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk stated there has been a request to amend the Intergovernmental Agreement <br />between Louisville and Superior and each municipality must weigh what is in the best <br />interest of their community. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light reviewed the options available to Council: 1) Close the public <br />hearing, prepare the exact language and advertise a new date for the public hearing. 2) <br />Continue the public hearing until the exact language is drafted. Light recommended <br />continuing the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Brown moved that Council continue the public hearing on <br />the US 36 Intergovernmental Agreement to the April 6, 2004 meeting, seconded by <br />Council member Keany. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1441, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY <br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND KNOWN AS THE 96TM <br />STREET ANNEXATION #1 - 1st reading - set public hearing 3/2/04 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1441, Series 2004. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that Ordinance No 1441, Series 2004, be published and a <br />public hearing be set for March 2, 2004, seconded by Council member Levihn. All in <br />favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1442, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE ZONING PROPERTY <br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE AND KNOWN AS THE 96TM <br />STREET ANNEXATION #2 - 1st reading - set public hearing 3/2/04 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk called for City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1442, Series 2004. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that Ordinance No. 1442, Series 2004, be published and a <br />public hearing be set for March 2, 2004, seconded by Council member Van Pelt.
