Business Retention & Development Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />June 5, 2017 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />King Soopers — one of the largest sales tax generators in the City. They would like a <br />second location in town. <br />Lowes — new retail rep. This part of their market is in flux. Always evaluating locations. <br />The store is doing well. <br />Home depot — new rep, did not have a lot to add. Store is doing well. <br />Safeway — they asked about negotiations about 550 McCaslin. <br />Chipotle — doing better after a bad 2015 <br />Qdoba — recently did a refresh of Louisville store. <br />Sullivan Hayes — they have a good feel for Denver market. Thinks the McCaslin area <br />could support another in-line retail project. Will be the marketing agent for South <br />Boulder Rd. Markel retail. <br />SRS — Retail broker. Talked about onslaught of changing valuations in the market. <br />Putting the squeeze on profits. <br />Met with Dairy Queen — too many franchise restrictions (on the part of Dairy Queen) <br />Tebo — Discussed DELO Plaza <br />ED UPDATE <br />New fees have been set for downtown parking improvement fee. <br />Colorado Therapeutics moving to CTC. <br />Organic Sandwich Company coming to Centennial Valley in former Blue Box Donuts <br />space. <br />Noise Ordinance for Louisville — Council will be looking at objective levels for noise <br />standards. Mayor Muckle said it is a difficult issue. Wants to protect homeowners and <br />allow businesses to have entertainment. It is an ongoing discussion at this point. Randy <br />Caranci encourages BRaD to be involved in this issue. <br />REPORT FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS: <br />Various questions asked about zoning and properties. <br />Blue Parrot location has a new restaurant coming called Verde.
