SUBJECT: FOUNDRY BUILDERS APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE DATE: AUGUST 14, 2017 PAGE 2 OF 5 The Site Plan for Delo Lofts is attached. Request The project is requesting an additional $1,000,000 for public infrastructure within the Core Area. Foundry Builders describes the needed improvements as "improvements that are required for the successful development of (primarily associated with grading constraints) the DeLo Lofts." Foundry Builders submitted an exhibit summarizing the requested improvement costs. Staff reviewed the improvements and the desired infrastructure projects and they appear to be as follows: General Conditions Costs related to bond issuance expenditures, engineering design, survey, construction management, geotechnical services, and general conditions. Delo Lofts Site work and private utility connections for the project. Includes grading, curb cuts, sanitary connection, water connection, and landscaping. Old Style Sausage Resetting the private utility connections to the property and surface tie-ins to the existing improvements. No improvements to the property are anticipated. Coal Creek Collision Resetting the private utility connections to the property and surface tie-ins to the existing improvements. No improvements to the property are anticipated. Griffith Street Replace existing curb cuts and do a new 2" mill and overlay asphalt treatment to the roadway. Miner's Field Grading, electrical, new fencing and scoreboard for the Miner's Field ballpark. Miner's Cabins Grading, concrete, electrical and landscaping to accommodate moving miners cabins from the Miner's Field Area. City Council on June 6th directed city staff to pursue two locations for the miner's cabins. Those locations are John Breaux Park on Front Street and the intersection of Highway 42 and Pine Street.
