Resource Conservation <br />Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />6/9/08 <br />Call to Order -Chairperson Mark Persichetti called the meeting to order at 6:45. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Beth Armbuster, Mark Persichetti, Jenny Braus, <br />Annie Hughes, Ryan Hughes, Victor Goldberg. <br />Board Members Absent: Richard Smith <br />Staff Members Present: None <br />Guests: Billy O'Donnell <br />Approval of Agenda -The agenda was approved by all members. <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes -The minutes from the May meeting were <br />approved as written. <br />Public Comments -None <br />Discussion: <br />Longmont's Green Points Program <br />Pros: <br />• Green points programs have been adopted in two local communities, <br />Longmont and Boulder. <br />• Green points is a proven rating system that has been used for years. <br />• Green points can be used for both new buildings and remodels. <br />• All inspections are performed by city inspectors, so building inspection <br />process may be less time consuming for builder/owner. <br />• Green points may provide flexibility in various political conditions. <br />City of Louisville <br />Parks & Recreation Department 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4735 (phone) 303.335.4738 (fax) www_ci_louisville_co_us <br />
