Four sites were consolidated to one site. <br />BCHA is consolidating to the old Kaiser building in early November. <br />8:15am: Habitat For Humanity Presentation: Jan Hawley-Development Director <br />and Clinton Moore <br />Jan gave a presentation. Local affiliate has built a total of 130 homes; 46 in service area and 86 <br />international. They are the 16a' largest homebuilder in the nation. Use over 2,300 volunteers to <br />build the 5 plex. Homeowners are vested in their home with sweat equity. Focus on green <br />building and sustainable building techniques. <br />September 21 ~` at 2:OOpm is the house blessing for the Harmony Haven site at 16`h and <br />Yarmouth. <br />Other options are to build additional prototypes on the land. <br />Steve would like to move forward and bring it to council. There is a transfer at Sunnyside.
