City Council Meeting Minutes April 1, 2008 Page 5 of 12 Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. Public Works Director Phare explained the Dillon Road Project begins east of 96th Street and ends at 104th Street. Along this corridor the City will be asking six property owners for right-of-ways and from five of the properties, a ten foot wide construction easement will bE; required. Out of the six properties, three have prearranged conveyance agreements in place. The ordinance identifies and designates the specific parcels required for public use in connection with the project and authorizes acquisition by negotiations. Mayor Sisk opened the public; hearing and requested public comment. There were no comments. The public hearing was closed. MOTION: Councilor Muckle moved Council approve Ordinance No. 1531, Series 2008 on second and final reading, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. ORDINANCE No. 1532, SERIES 2008 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 8.16.040, 8.20.010, AND 10.20.030 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE REGULATION AND ABATEMENT OF ABANDONED OR INOPERABLE VEHICLES AND DETACHED TRAILERS; AMENDING CERTAIN ;SECTIONS OF TITLE 9 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE OFFENSES OF ASSAULT, HARASSMENT, THROWING THINGS, AND SHOPLIFTING; INCREASING THE JURISDICTIONAL AMOUNT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY OFFENSES, THEFT AND FRAUD BY CHECK, AND AMENDING SECTION 10.04.020 CONCERNING COMPULSIJRY INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS -Set Public Hearing Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1532, Series 2008. MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved Council approve Ordinance No. 1532, Series 2008 on first reading; have it published and set the public hearing for April 15, 2008, seconded by Councilor Clabots. All in favor. ORDINANCE No. 1533, SERIES 2008 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A PL~INNED COMMUNITY ZONE DISTRICT (PCZD) GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR APPROXIMATELY 28 ACRES OF LAND ZONED PLANNED COMMUNITY ZONED DISTRICT COMMERCIAL (PDZD - C) AND LYING WITHIN THE BUSINESS CENTER AT CTC -Set Public Hearing Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction.
