City Attorney Light stated an inoperable vehicle is one that does not <br />have a current registration or validation sticker or is a junk or dismantled vehicle. <br />Mayor Sisk closed the public hearing. <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem M~arsella moved to approve Ordinance No. 1532, <br />Series 2008, with the deletion of paragraph B under Harassment, seconded by <br />Councilor Sackett. Roll call vote was taken and carried by a vote of 6-0. Absent: <br />Councilor Clabots. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1534, SERIES 2008 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 3.20.260 OF THE: LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING <br />THE REMITTANCE OF SALES TAX AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 3.20.412 <br />TO THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE USE OF THE <br />STATE ADDRESS DA1fABASE FOR REMITTANCE OF SALES TAX <br />PAYMENTS •- 15t Reading -Set Public Hearing <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City ~4ttorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1534, Series 2008 and requested a first <br />reading amendment to the ordinance title: The addition of the word "the" between <br />concerning" the" use of "the" State Address. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved) Council approve Ordinance No. 1534, Series 2008 <br />on first reading; with the addition of the word "the" in the ordinance title, have it <br />published and set the public hearing for May 6, 2008. Mayor Pro Tem Marsella <br />seconded the motion. All in favor. Absent: Councilor Clabots. <br />APPROVAL OF AWARD OF LISTING AGREEMENT FOR <br />DAMYANOVICH HOME PROPERTY TO STEVE ANDERSON OF <br />REMAX ALLIANCE OF LOUISVILLE <br />Councilor Muckle inquired if tlhe listing agent would receive an additional 5% <br />commission if the property is sold within 30 days. City Manager Fleming <br />responded no and clarified the listing agent would receive a 4% commission if <br />there is not another realtor involved and 5.5% if there is another realtor involved, <br />and only 5% if the property sE;lls within 30 days to reflect the lower advertising <br />costs the realtor would incur if the sale occurs in that short time frame. <br />
