City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />August 5, 2008 <br />Page 9 of 14 <br />Commission conducted a public hearing on July 10th and forwarded a <br />recommendation of support with the following conditions: <br />1. Refinement of the lighting plan by combining Sheets SDP-9 and <br />SDP-10, and including detail drawings of the light fixtures <br />proposed. <br />2. Revision of the parking table for clarity of how bank parking is <br />incorporated into the overall site. <br />3. Revision of the shading on the Overall Site Plan (SDP-2) to <br />indicate only the building and associated parking for the Key Bank <br />Plan. <br />4. Submittal of colored elevations of the proposed buildings. <br />The applicant agreed to the conditions recommended by the Planning <br />Commission and the Final Planned Unit Development plan under consideration <br />has been revised in order to comply with all the noted conditions. <br />Councilor Muckle asked if the trash enclosure had room for recycling. Planning <br />Director Wood confirmed there is room for recycling. <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br />Councilor Muckle inquired about the connectivity from the south. Planning <br />Director Wood explained there are two retail centers located to the north, with <br />connectivity through shared driveways, however to extend the private driveway to <br />the south would overwhelm and create confusing traffic patterns. <br />Councilor Muckle asked if there would be informal pedestrian access. Planning <br />Director Wood stated there are informal pedestrian accesses from McCaslin and <br />to the west and the north. <br />MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved to approve Resolution No. 33, Series 2008, <br />seconded by Councilor Muckle. All in favor. Recused: Mayor Sisk. Absent: <br />Councilor Clabots. Mayor Sisk returned to the meeting after the vote . <br />RESOLUTION No. 34, SERIES 2008 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU) TO ALLOW FOR THE OPERATION OF A <br />PRESCHOOL/PRIVATE SCHOOL ON A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1428 <br />MAIN STREET AND ZONED COMMERCIAL NEIGHBORHOOD (CN) <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br />Planning Director Wood reported the applicants, Michelle Beech and Elizabeth <br />Baker, representing The Patchwork School, are requesting approval of a Special <br />Review Use (SRU) to permit the operation of a preschool/private school on a <br />
