Saunders has significant experience on similar projects in Colorado and around the country. Adding - Saunders to the team now means we can better identify cost sav- ings measures without sacrificing quality, get more accurate cost estimates, and get the project ready to break ground! Some of the thousands of project details the team is working through include life cycle cost analysis for sustainability and cell tower design options. Staff also met with the Parks and Public Landscaping and Open Space Advisory Boards to keep members up-to-date on the project. The team recently held a public presenta- tion to update residents on the status of the project and timeline on May 4th. Keep an eye out for future meet- ings! This means that flowers and trees are bloom- ing, grass is growing, and yes, those pesky weeds have also ap- - peared. One of the tools the City uses to control weeds is herbicides. Questions and concerns commonly arise with the use of herbicides and rightfully so. The program recognizes the significance of more than 35 local landmarks and honors the links to the community's history that these properties represent.
