Land is so expensive it is diffi- <br />cult to do any landscaping in Boulder. <br />Mr. Hickey felt that the option they have <br />on the Hewitt property would allow them <br />to do these amenities. He also stated that <br />there was a lot of water on the property and <br />thf.y would like to build some water courses <br />in conjunction with the proposed project. <br />Mr,. Hickey reiterated that he wished to annex <br />the property, with Council's approval and <br />re;;one it for light industrial, then pro- <br />cec~d with the P.U.D. and other regulations <br />of the City. He then depicted on the wall <br />map the location of the property and loca- <br />tion of the utility lines. Mr. Hickey <br />stated the advantages for Louisville to have <br />their compan locate here were that they <br />were the lar est Jewelry Co. in the state <br />of Colorado; have a successful product line; <br />and felt tha with growth possibilities jobs <br />would be ava lable.
