5/1/'84 Page -6- Councilman Luce Commented that he really didn't have time Utilization of Information to puruse the document and inquired if Mayor Meier had any plan to utilize this information and incorporate it into what we a:re doing; and if so what would be the process of moving it along. Mayc>r Meier stated he did not have a process pre~;ently; but would formulate one with Administrator Wurl and Director Rupp especially with respect to the Task Force's recommenda- tions on the Comprehensive Plan. Councilman Luce stated that a lot of people had put a lot of energy and hard work into the report and it was his hope that it would not go by the wayside. He was interested in keeping these people involved. They havE: a lot of good background now and once Council has an opportunity to study the report would like to take advantage of their ideas and recommendations. Mayor Meier assured councilmembers that the information would be utilized and perhaps a Citizens Advisory Committee be formed to continue with this input. Councilman Leary Suggested. that the Task Force hold another Council Meet with Task meeting and invite Council to attend to Force discuss the report. Mr. Ackerman stated they would welcome this meet=ing. Mayor Meier hoped to set it up within the next 2-3 weeks. R. E. TROUSIL WATER TAP Courlcilmembers had copies of the information REQUEST subnnitted at the time of Mr. Trousil's original request. No Provision for Fire Line Administrator Wurl advised that inside the Fee city limits we have no provision for any fee for a fire line; consequently we don't have a provision that accomodates that outside the city limits. Mr. Wurl suggested that a fE.e schedule needs to be developed to provide for a fire line ,such as this one. Richard Silverstein Mr. Silverstein representing Mr. Trousil 1515 Arapahoe St., Denver stained they did not have anything to add to i~he request with the exception that there was a discussion that the Trousil property was in the City's designated open space. It was their belief that Boulder County had designated open space around the area.
