1/9/84 Page -9- BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS Councilwoman Morris moved that Norm Laurence be appointed to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals for a 3 year term. Mayor Meier requested that Councilwoman Morris amend her motion that the job be readvertised. Mayor Meier seconded the motion as amended. Councilman Leary Remarked that Mr. Robert Ross was a current member and his letter of interest wasn't necessary? Administrator Wurl advised that it was a late one. Vote on the Motion Norm Lawrence Appointed Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Meier stated that Mr. Norm Laurence had been appointed to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals and thanked him for being present at the meeting. DENVER REGIONAL COUNCIL OF Councilman Leary nominated Rick Luce for the GOVERNMENT AND ONE ALTERNATE Cit:y's representative to the Denver Regional Councilman Rick Luce Appointed Council of Government. Councilwoman Johnson seconded. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Councilwoman Morris nominated Councilwoman Betty Johnson to be the Alternate Representa- tive for the City to DRCOG. Councilman Luce seconded. Councilman Leary nominated Councilman Robert Woodson to be alternate for the City to the Denver Regional Council of Governments. Councilman Luce seconded. Councilman Woodson Declined Councilman Woodson encouraged council to votes for Councilwoman Betty Johnson. Council- man Woodson stated that due to his heavy schedule he preferred to decline the nomination. Councilman Leary moved, Mayor Meier seconded that the nominations be closed. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Betty Johnson Alternate Councilman. Leary moved that Councilwoman Betty Johnson be appointed alternate to the Denver Regional Council of Governments.
