12/18/84 Page -6-
Councilman Leary Commented that he concurred with Councilman
Fauson that we cannot have a retreat that
excludes anyone. It is against our Code
of Ethics. Mr. Leary also stated that he
felt that Mr. Fauson had made a public
accusation and he felt that a private re-
sponse was inappropriate; requested that
his explanation be made public.
Councilman Fauson stated that he was not
prepared to list the secret meetings this
evening; but would make them publicly at
a later time.
Mayor Meier requested that Councilmembers
select a date and an alternate date that
they would be able to have the retreat and
relay this to City Administrator Hundley.
The retreat will be open to the public.
PROGRESS REPORT ON SOUTH Councilmembers had a
BOULDER ROAD Acting City Engineer
as quotes from Varra
Co., and Intermounta
control pertinent to
improvements.
copy of a memo from
Dave Blanchard as well
Co., National Barricade
in Companies for traffic
the South Boulder Road
Ken Huson, Staff Engineer Mr. Huson stated presently on South Boulder
Road for traffic control is a combination of
lane edge delineations. At Centennial
Drive there w:ill be 2 median signs. These
signs can be taken down and when the improvements
are completed put back up. There will be
some speed limit signs and no left turn signs
that will be placed at entrances to the pro-
ject, i.e. off Centennial Drive, entrance to
Hunter's. Ridge, Eisenhower Drive as it comes
out of the Ponderosa subdivision and there
will be a grade out of the Trailer Park.
Those will a1:1 be permanent signage.
The reason it has taken so long was that it
was staff's original intent to have the con-
tractor perform this service and when they
came back with their bids and they were evalu-
