Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 849 - CONCERNING Cou:ncilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />EMPLOYEES COST OF LIVING Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on :first reading and the request was for <br />publication and that a public hearing be set. <br />PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED AND Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Luce seconded <br />PUBLIC HEARING SET that Ordinance No. 849 Concerning Employees <br />Cost of Living be published and that a public <br />hearing be set: for December 4, 1984. <br />Amendment Councilman Leary moved, Councilman .Luce <br />seconded that the ordinance should read - <br />SUCH CO5T OF LIVING INCREASES SHALL BE <br />BASED ON ANNUAL NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE MAYOR <br />AND CITY COUNCIL. (deleting and shall be pro- <br />vidE=_d as funds are available).
