Page -12- ORDINANCE NO. 848 - INCREASING Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FEES Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on first reading and the request was for publication and that a public hearing be set. PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Mayor Meier moved, Councilwoman Morris PUBLIC HEARING SET seconded that Ordinance #848 - Increasing Construction Permit Fees be published and a public hearing be set for December 4, 1984. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 849 - CONCERNING Cou:ncilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; EMPLOYEES COST OF LIVING Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on :first reading and the request was for publication and that a public hearing be set. PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED AND Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Luce seconded PUBLIC HEARING SET that Ordinance No. 849 Concerning Employees Cost of Living be published and that a public hearing be set: for December 4, 1984. Amendment Councilman Leary moved, Councilman .Luce seconded that the ordinance should read - SUCH CO5T OF LIVING INCREASES SHALL BE BASED ON ANNUAL NEGOTIATIONS WITH THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL. (deleting and shall be pro- vidE=_d as funds are available). All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
