9/18/84 Page -2- Mayor Meier continued the public hearing and asked if there were any public comments for or against the application. None. Council questions and comments. None. Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. APPROVAL GRANTED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilwoman John- son seconded that the Double Happy Restau- rant be granted a beer/wine liquor license. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. PRESENTATION - NEW VECTOR Councilmembers had copies of 3 letters in COMMUNICATIONS, INC. relation to this item as well as a location map. Councilmembers also had a letter from the Office of the County Attorney that out- ined their proposal and what is going on in terms of their request before the Boulder County Planning Commission and the Boulder County Commissioners. The proposed site was very near the Louisville Reservoir. Director of Community Services Hioco depicted on the wall map - City of Louisville Parks, Trail and Open Space - where NewVector is proposing to put up a tower. Representa- tives of New Vector Communications, Inc. were not present at this time. Acting City Administrator Rupp advised the proposed site of the tower could pose a problem because of its proximity to the Louisville Reservoir if Council should de- cide to expand this facility. The heighth of the proposed tower is 167' as compared to the old tower of 110'. Delete this item from Agenda Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman John - son seconded that this item be deleted from the agenda until the representatives are present to answer questions. Councilwoman Morris stated that she would abstain from voting as her husband worked for A.T. & T. Motion withdrawn Councilman Cussen withdrew his motion and Councilwoman Johnson withdrew her second on the recommendation of Acting City Administra- tor Rupp who stated that he was certain the represntatives would be present later in the evening. Mayor Meier, with the approval of Council, deferred this item to be taken up under the City Administrator's Report 11. D. 1.
