8/21/84 <br />Page -18- <br />Acting City Administrator Rupp advised the <br />ordinance had been reviewed by Staff and <br />they recommended approval. <br />Any public comments for or against Ordinance <br />No. 842 - None. <br />Public questions - none <br />Council questions and o~mments. <br />Councilwoman Johnson Wished clarification that ordinances do not <br />become effective for 30 days and any homes <br />under construction now would not be required <br />to adhere to this ordinance. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised this was so; <br />however it was his understanding that most <br />of these standards are currently being met <br />in the construction. This just gave it a <br />little more enforcement power. <br />Mayor Meier closed the public hearing and <br />called for council remarks. <br />Councilman Leary Commented on the pressure reducing valve, <br />how does that relate to the needs of <br />outdoor sprinkler systems? <br />Mayor Meier replied that 40-50 psi should <br />be adequate for most designed sprinklers <br />unless they are home-designed. <br />ADOPTION Councilman Fauson moved, Councilwoman Johnson <br />seconded that Ordinance No. 842 - Installation <br />of Water Conservation Devices be adopted. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Johnson Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />Leary Yes <br />Cussen Yes <br />Fauson Yes <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 23 - LOUIS- Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution <br />VILLE NORTH PROFESSIONAL and Attorney Rautenstraus read it in its entirety. <br />OFFICE FINAL PLAT AND P.U.D. <br />Acting City Administrator Rupp gave a slide <br />presentation stating the site was located <br />north of South Boulder road and east of <br />Centennial Drive; consists of 26,532 sq.ft. <br />
