Louisville City Council Meeting <br />May 18, 2004 <br />Page 10 of 11 <br /> <br />City Attorney Light requested the City Council convene an Executive Session for the <br />purpose of consultation with respect to pending litigation (Virginia Hoyle and Ira Hoyle <br />Family Trust v. City of Louisville, Case No. 04CV657, Boulder County District Court). <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved that Council go into Executive Session to discuss <br />pending litigation with the City Attorney, seconded by Council member Brown. <br />All in favor. Council went into the Executive Session at 9:08 p.m. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons was excused from the balance of the meeting. Council member <br />Levihn left the meeting at 9:08 p.m. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS CONTINUED <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk called the meeting back to order at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />REPORT BY CITY ATTORNEY FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported on pending litigation (Virginia Hoyle and Ira Hoyle Family <br />Trust v. City of Louisville, Case No. 04CV657, Boulder County District Court). The <br />City Attorney received Council direction on how to proceed. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />No additional items. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />· Planning Director Paul Wood reported on the citywide Comprehensive Plan and <br /> the Centennial Square signage. <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd distributed the Community Park budget, which <br />was prepared by Land Management Director Cindy Lair. She reported on the <br />Cherrywood Homeowners Association objection to the commercial signage along <br />McCaslin Boulevard. She also reported on the Library Public Meeting. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Heather Balser reported future meetings scheduled for <br />EIS, which would address maximum footprint for US 36/McCaslin Interchange. <br />She also reported on the citizen survey. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council member Brown reported on the Business Retention & Development Committee <br />Meeting. He suggested the Council meet with the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on the Housing Authority meeting, the Senior Advisory Board <br />meeting, and a Fastracks meeting. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br /> <br />
