Proclamation- U.S. Constitution tFeek <br /> <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />No comments. <br /> <br /> COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on the Monarch High School Homecoming celebration and <br />commended the students for their conduct. <br /> <br /> REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1453, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE <br />VACATION OF A 50-FOOT BY 60-FOOT PORTION OF THE SOUTH FRONT <br />STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED BETWEEN BLOCK 8 AND BLOCK 9 IN <br />THE MURPHY PLACE SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE - 2na <br />reading - public hearing continued from 9/7/04 (advertised Daily Camera 8/7/04) - <br />staff recommends continuance to 10/19/04 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1453, Series 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood explained on September 7th, 2004, Council conducted a <br />public hearing on Ordinance No. 1453, Series 2004. Testimony was received into the <br />record and Council continued the hearing to October 5, 2004 for purposes of evaluating a <br />compromise submitted by the applicant's counsel. Staff is requesting additional time to <br />complete an evaluation and response to the applicant's compromise, and a continuance of <br />the public hearing to October 19, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Tom Rafferty, 945 Rex Street, Louisville, CO expressed his desire for the City to reach a <br />compromise with the neighbors. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved Council continue the public hearing to October 19, 2004, <br />seconded by Council member Levihn.
