Louisville City Council Meeting <br />November 16, 2004 <br />Page 4 of 8 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reopened the public hearing and asked if anyone in the audience wished to <br />comment relative to the 2005 Budget. There were no comments. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Council member Brown asked Finance Director Patty Leslie to outline the budget <br />process. Leslie stated the budget process began in June, and continued for five more <br />months. She explained this year a newsletter was developed for citizens, which outlines <br />and explains the 2005 budget. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked Finance Director Leslie for her work on the budget. He requested <br />public comment and hearing none, closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 48, SERIES 2004 - A RESOLUTION SUMMARIZING <br />EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING A <br />BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, FOR THE <br />CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY 2005 AND <br />ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 2005 <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Brown moved for Council approval of Resolution No. 48, <br />Series 2004, seconded by Council member Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The <br />motion passed by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 49, SERIES 2004 - ANNUAL APPROPRIATION <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2005, AND <br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2005, FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved for Council approval of Resolution No. 49, <br />Series 2004, seconded by Council member Brown. Roll call vote was taken. The motion <br />passed by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 50, SERIES 2004 - A RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL <br />PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE YEAR 2004 TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF <br />GOVERNMENT FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, FOR THE <br />2005 BUDGET YEAR <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Marsella moved for Council approval of Resolution No. 50, <br />Series 2004, seconded by Council member Levihn. Roll call vote was taken.
