Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 7, 2004 <br />Page 2 of 11 <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />De <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />Resolution No. 53, Series 2004 - A Resolution Approving a Professional <br />Service Contract Between the City of Louisville and the Leland <br />Consulting Group <br />Appointment to Louisville Arts & Humanities Council <br />Award Bid to Altivia Corporation for Two Chlorine Dioxide Systems for <br />the City's }Vater Treatment Facilities <br />Resolution No. 54, Series 2004 - A Resolution Approving A Grant of <br />Easement Between the City of Louisville and Public Service Company of <br />Colorado <br />Approve Purchase of Police Department Laboratory Equipment from <br />Air Science <br />Approve Contract for 2005 Services with Boulder Valley Humane <br />Society <br />Authorize Staff to Negotiate Memory Square Swimming Pool Liner Bid <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Frosty Woolridge, 1458 Ford Place, Louisville, CO, addressed the issue of <br />overpopulation in the United States, and stated he has written a book about the subject. <br />He also requested the City enforce the ordinance prohibiting parking or storage within <br />front or side yards in residential areas. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported that Council member Dave Clabots and his wife Betty were <br />involved in an auto accident on the afternoon of Friday, December 3, 2004. Council <br />member Clabots was injured and has been hospitalized at Avista Hospital. He asked that <br />Council and the citizens keep Council member Clabots in their thoughts and prayers. <br /> <br />Council member Brown commended Mr. Woolridge for his dedication in getting his <br />message to the rest of the country. City Manager Simmons noted the City has passed an <br />ordinance addressing unregistered vehicles and residents can report such vehicles to the <br />police department. He stated Staff will investigate the issue of parking trailers and motor <br />homes on City streets. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk commended the Chamber of Commerce for the success of the Parade of <br />Lights, and the downtown ice skating rink.
