Museum Coordinator's written report: <br />Bridget reported that the last First Friday Art Walk topic at the Museum about <br />Louisville High School Football with Fred and Lois Tesone was a good time and a <br />great success. The posting for a Museum Technician drew over 100 applicants and <br />the interviewing process is ongoing. Renewal reminder postcards for memberships <br />have been sent out and the new issue of the Louisville Historian will be mailed on <br />the 2nd. History Colorado reached out to the Museum and will have a walking tour of <br />Louisville in March. Lastly, security experts recently toured around City buildings <br />including the Museum and gave recommendations to improve security. <br />D. Appearance at Youth Advisory Board meeting scheduled for Feb. 1: <br />The Youth Advisory Board is inviting representatives from different boards and <br />commissions to sign up to attend their meetings. Bridget signed up to attend the <br />YAB meeting on February 1. Paula and Dan volunteered to attend with Bridget. <br />E. Museum Open House during Parade of Lights - Commission signups to chat with <br />visitors at the Museum 4-6 PM and 6-8 PM on Friday, Dec. 1st (Art Walk begins at <br />4 PM, to be followed by the Parade of Lights Open House ending at about 8 PM): <br />Bridget asked Commission members to volunteer to come to the Museum during <br />the December Art Walk and Parade of Lights. Gordon, Keith and Paula volunteered <br />to attend. <br />VII. Update on process for conceptual design of new Visitor Center building: <br />A. Review of Oct. 2 public meeting: The Roybal firm presented the updated <br />conceptual design for the Visitor Center building in response to public comments <br />from previous presentations.
