Monthly Rental Vacancy Report <br />Sunnyside D3 and D2 are currently for rent, both 2 Bedrooms for $875. Regal Ct. $720, 2 <br />Bedroom is currently available. Acme and Lilac cabinets are being replaced. <br />Section 8: HCV Program Report : Monthly statistics <br />72 families currently in the City of Louisville. <br />Louisville Comprehensive Plan Update <br />Callan, Sheri, and Frank met with Louisville City Manager Malcolm Fleming, Sean McCarthy, <br />Heather Balser, and Paul Wood to discuss the ongoing update on the Louisville Comprehensive <br />plan. One of the main items for discussion was what ways can the LHA get funding to expand <br />its housing programs? There is enthusiasm to continue discussion on possible development. It <br />was agreed that the LHA Board should assign members to attend one of the next LRC meetings. <br />Rob Kelly, Callan Childs, and Frank Alexander agreed to attend. The LHA can also meet with <br />Michael Reis again. There will be no residential at the Conoco Phillips site. Senior and <br />affordable housing wanted near hospitals and schools. <br />LHA Strategic Planning <br />Proposal for LHA Meeting with City Council on October 28t~, 2008 or another date <br />Meeting at 7:OOpm. Next meeting is December 9~' or wait until January. The board decided that <br />the only reason to proceed with a City Council study session is to present a proposal for the <br />partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The BCHA is currently working on the development of <br />its former maintenance shop at 900 Avalon into two duplex visitable units. Staff is working to <br />drive down the construction price by ordering systems built units. The LHA agreed to wait until <br />further data is available from the construction of the duplexes prior to determining the final <br />outcome for the South Boulder Rd. site. <br />Matters from Members of the Board <br />Frank/Finance-utility budget <br />Frank-are cabinets being replaced at Lilac? <br />Frank-check on Occupancy Analysis reports.
