Action Item: Lynn will get competitive pricing from <br />Centennial Printing. Lynn has to judge quality and make <br />final decision. <br />Action Item: Lynn will develop cost sheet with quantities to <br />reflect a 25~ markup <br />Don made a motion that LCC purchase the numbers of items <br />listen on Lynn Wooten's handout at an amount not to exceed <br />$338.28. Jim seconded the motion. After discussion, it was <br />unanimously decided to proceed with the $500. authorized at <br />the last meeting. <br />Lynn has been working to create art shows of all 22 pictures <br />around town. There will be an opening night at the Empire <br />Friday, November 7th with free hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. <br />XIV - Events <br />Young Artists: Lynn will email schedule for babysitting the <br />Young Artists Show. LCC is responsible for Sundays. <br />Postcards of the students' work will be available, $12 <br />retail for a packet of 5 cards. Cost is $6; profit of $3/per <br />packet each to LCC and LAA. <br />Swing & Ballroom: Maryan requested help with the October 11th <br />date; Andy volunteered to open and close. <br />Note: We all agreed that the pizza delivery guy needs to be <br />tipped and the guy who makes the coffee for us at Vic's <br />should get $20. <br />XV - Art in the Park <br />Maryan reported that Gregg Lowrimore from LAA is ready to do <br />our Call for Entry as soon as the City Attorney approves the <br />documents. <br />Don Atwood moved that we adjourn the meeting at 8:55, <br />seconded by Julie Kovash and unanimously approved. <br />
