B All decisions by the Cultural Council as to placement of works of <br />art shall be considered final unless the City Council within forty-five (45) days of <br />the decision chooses to review the decision, which review shall occur at a <br />subsequent City Council meeting. <br />Sec. 14.20.090.- Exemptions. <br />The following are exempt from the provisions of this chapter: <br />A All works of art in the collections of, or on display at, or under the <br />auspices of the Louisville Histoncal Museum; <br />B. All displays of works of art of a temporary nature (whether owned <br />by or loaned to the City) in all City -owned buildings, including without limitation <br />the Louisville Center for the Arts, the Louisville Public Library, the Louisville <br />Recreation/Senior Center or City Hall; <br />C. All works of art on display in pnvate city offices or other area of <br />city -owned facilities which are not generally frequented by the public; <br />D. All projects that remediate damage caused by a federally declared <br />disaster. <br />Section 2. If any portion of this ordinance is held to be invalid for any reason, such <br />decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The City <br />Council hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each part hereof <br />irrespective of the fact that any one part be declared invalid. <br />Section 3. All other ordmances or portions thereof mconsistent or conflicting with this <br />ordinance or any portion hereof are hereby repealed to the extent of such mconsistency or conflict. <br />INTRODUCED, READ, PASSED ON FIRST READING, AND ORDERED <br />PUBLISHED this 6th day of February, 2018. <br />ATTEST: <br />Meredyth Muth, City <br />Rob"ert P.
