Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: September 29, 2003 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br />Detective Lanphere reviewed the incident report and noted the restaurant called the <br />police relative to the altercation in their parking lot. The reporting officers determined <br />the Old Sante Fe Mexican Grille had not violated any liquor codes. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton suggested the Authority send a letter to the Old Sante Fe Mexican <br />Grille commending them for reporting the incident to the police. She also asked the <br />letter contain the Authorities recommendation to the owner that his staff attend liquor <br />training. <br /> <br />SECRETARY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Clerk Varra thanked Authority Member Kimmett for noting an error in newsletter <br />relative to the training session date. She stated the newsletter would be corrected and <br />resent to all the licensees. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />No items. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY COMMENTS <br /> <br />There was Authority discussion relative to show cause hearings. <br /> <br />Wilson called attention to a newspaper article that reported on State audits on <br />establishments where the owners have criminal records. According to the article, such <br />audit may result in more sting operations. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Lipton moved to adjourn @ 8:25 p.m. Wilson seconded the motion. All members were <br />in favor.
