LCity=r <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO W SINCE 1878 <br />Department of Planning and Building Safety <br />749 Main Street • Louisville CO 80027 • 303.335.4592 • www.louisvilleCO.gov <br />Memorandum <br />Date: March 7, 2018 <br />To: Historical Commission <br />CC: Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator <br />From: Lauren Trice, Associate Planner <br />Subject: Discussion/Direction — Louisville Interpretive Sign Proofs <br />Over the past year, the Planning Department, Museum Staff, Historic <br />Preservation Commission, and the Historical Commission developed the <br />language and locations for four City -owned interpretive signs. The signs will be <br />unveiled in May during Preservation Month. <br />The locations for the four signs are: <br />1. South Street Underpass (at the top of the ramp) <br />2. John Breaux Park across from library <br />3. Community Park - facing Murphy Farm at entrance to parking lot <br />4. Memory Square Park — facing Center for the Arts <br />All of the locations are identified by a red marker if you are interested in visiting <br />the locations. <br />Staff is working with E3 Signs to create the final proofs and install the signs. The <br />first proofs of the signs, with the language and photos, are attached. <br />Planning Staff requests that the Historical Commission review and comment on <br />the proofs for the signs. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Interpretive Sign Proofs <br />
