Building Trail Identities: names, icons, colors <br />Lake to Lake Trail: This trail connects harper Lake and Lake Park in Louisville <br />and Waneka Lake in Lafayette. The City of Louisville is working on underpasses that <br />will cross the Burlington Northern Railroad and 95th Street and will create a trail of <br />5.0 miles within the City Boundary. <br />Goodhue Ditdi Trail: This trail follows along the historic Goodhue Ditch, The <br />Goodhue has been used since 1873 and is sourced from South Boulder Creek. This <br />historic ditch fills Warembourg Fishing Pond, HeIca Reservoir, Lake Park Open Space <br />Lake, Stearns Lake at Rock Creek Farm and Waneka Lake and is a valuable resource <br />for irrigating local farms. The trail is 3.85 miles in total length. <br />Powerline Trail: This trail has a direct and straight North-South trail alignment <br />running directly underneath tall powerline poles and is a particularly useful trail for <br />local commuter traffic to work and school. The trail is 3.8 miles in length. <br />MiningTrail: This trail is an east -west connector trail starting from McCaslin Road, <br />traveling by the Recreation Center, then through Wa rem b u rg Open Spacer and <br />finally connecting to Community Park and the Coal Creek Trail. The "Mining Trail's <br />honors the great number of mines which were the lifeblood for the founding of the <br />City of Louisville. The trail is 2.0 miles in length. <br />Farm 's Trail: This trail connects the agricultural open spaces to the east of <br />downtown to the Coal Creek Trail and the City of Lafayette. The trail is 1.35 miles in <br />length. <br />Old Town Link: This short spur connection will become a bike friendly connection <br />to downtown. This trail provides ars on -street bike connection for people heading <br />downtown Louisville. The trail is X miles in total length. <br />Coal Creek Trail: This trail is a regional trail amenity for the City of Louisville and <br />neighboring towns. It is the product of a 20 -year partnership between the City of <br />Louisville, Boulder County Parks & Open Space, Boulder County Transportation, City <br />of Lafayette, Town of Superior and Town of Erie. The trail is 3.75 miles within the <br />City, from the western end at the US 36 Bikeway to the east end at Farmer's Trail. <br />10 <br />
