Roll CaII — Members present: Jennifer Strand, Mike Crowe, Leah Franks, Debbie <br />Davies, Blake Welch, Adam Sloat, Mark Cathcart, Kate Ward, Sean Moynihan and <br />Angie Layton <br />Members absent: none <br />City Representatives present: Katie Zoss; not present: Jeff Lipton <br />III. Attendance and Volunteer Hours Log were circulated <br />IV. Approval of Today's Agenda: all approved <br />V. Public Comments: none <br />VI. Correction and/or Approval of February Meeting Minutes: unanimously approved <br />VII. Chair's Report: Adam met with Heather Balser, city manager, to discuss goals for <br />the LCC such as raising the budget and applying for more money for grants. <br />VIII. Treasurer's Report: Jennifer & Debbie reported on recent deposits and payments. <br />IX. 2018 Art Grant Update: Totem Puppet Project: Debbie spoke on behalf of Aprylisa <br />Snyder that she is unable to use the $400 grant awarded to her last month and declines <br />use of the arts center for any project. After discussion, Jennifer moved to redistribute <br />this $400 equally among the remaining grant recipients, except for Dona Luarita, who <br />already received the full award amount. Mark seconded, and all were in agreement to <br />redistribute the $400 equally among the 6 award recipients. <br />X. Staff report: Katie spoke on budget requests for 2019-2020 with a deadline of March <br />30th. Requests can come from two pots: Normal operating funds of the LCC, and Capital <br />Requests. After discussion, all agreed to ask to increase the arts grant budget from <br />$5,000 to $10,000 citing a 30% increase from the previous year in proposals, and <br />increasing the programming budget from $10,000 to $20,000. Ideas for capital requests <br />were raising the stage and adding at overhang for the stage at Community Park for the <br />
