ATTACHMENT A <br />2016 Community Trails, Open Space and GIS Requests <br />Please return your information by Friday, March 31, 2017. <br />I. Open Space and Trail Requests: send to Tina Nielsen <br />tnielsen(i bouldercounty.org 303-678-6279 <br />Please include your contact information, and whether this request has been approved by your advisory <br />board and/or city council/town board. <br />A. Open Space requests: Through the efforts of all of our open space programs, we have preserved a <br />lot of open space in Boulder County. What significant parcels remain in your area in order to consider <br />the job done? Please list properties numbered in order of priority, even if you have submitted them <br />in a previous year. Please include property owner or location, acreage and attach a map if possible. <br />Include any additional information that may be relevant, such as how it fits in with municipal or county <br />plans, approximate cost, whether or not your community can share in the cost, etc. Refer to Attachment <br />B: 2015 Community Open Space Requests — Summary and Status Report for responses to 2015 <br />requests. <br />B. Trail requests: Boulder County is most likely to partner on trails that connect to county open space <br />trails, or are part of identified regional trail priorities, and have been vetted through a planning process <br />that includes input from members of the public and other interested parties. Boulder County welcomes <br />the opportunity to further discuss these requests with your staff or boards. Please list projects <br />numbered in order of priority, even if you have submitted them in a previous year. Refer to <br />Attachment C: 2015 Community Trail Requests —Summary and Status Report has responses to 2015 <br />requests and updates to requests from previous years. <br />II. GIS information: send to Kristi Van den Bosch <br />kvandenbosch(a,bouldercounty.org 303-678-6308 <br />Boulder County Parks and Open Space GIS staff works to keep maps showing open space in Boulder <br />County up to date. In order to show the complete picture, we need your help. You can communicate <br />changes to your open space information in several ways: <br />If you submit to COMAP, let us know and we will use their information <br />Send your shapefile or geodatabase <br />Send a hard copy of your open space property information <br />Boulder County will combine the information received from other agencies with its mapping <br />information to produce an Inter -Agency Open Space Map that will be made available both electronically <br />and in hard -copy format. <br />14 <br />
