Accounting & Tax <br />Administration <br />Information Technology <br />Sustainability <br />Facilities Maintenance <br />Fleet Maintenance <br />Vacancy rate: jobs per capita: resident <br />filled jobs, sales. construction & <br />consumer use tax revenue: building <br />investment: economic indicators & <br />trends_ <br />Measured external & internal satisfaction <br />levels: participation rates: comparison to <br />established benchmark performance <br />indicators & accomplishment of goals. <br />Consistent with these goals and objectives, City leaders and staff accomplished the <br />following during 2017: <br />• Started construction on the Recreation/Senior Center and Memory Square Pool <br />expansion, a $28 million project <br />• Continued implementation of the Street Reconstruction and Pavement Booster <br />Program to maintain the City's pavement infrastructure <br />• Completed the South Street Underpass, connecting Historic Downtown Louisville <br />to Downtown East Louisville <br />• Initiating design on a Railroad Quiet Zone to significantly reduce train noise within <br />City limits <br />• Completing construction on the new Wastewater Treatment Plant, a $32.6 million <br />project <br />• Acquiring the Mayhoffer property with Boulder County and the City of Lafayette for <br />open space <br />• Replacing water and sewer lines to maintain the City's utility infrastructure <br />• Collaborating with Boulder County Housing Authority on the new affordable <br />housing facility, Kestrel <br />• Continuing implementation of the City's new Enterprise Resource Planning <br />System <br />• Adopting a Cultural Arts Master Plan and Police Department Master Plan <br />PROJECTS PLANNED IN 2018 <br />The City reviews and publishes its Five -Year Capital Improvements Plan on an annual <br />basis.
