Renewal Application — SHI-II Louisville Residences, LLC d/b/a The <br />Residences at Balfour — Lodging & Entertainment Liquor License — <br />1336 Hecla Dr. <br />Carlson called for any changes to the consent agenda. Lipton noted she had <br />a family member residing at Balfour but it would not affect her decision on <br />their renewal. Carlson thanked her for letting the Authority know. Lipton <br />moved the consent agenda be approved. Machado seconded. All in favor. <br />Absent: Watson and Scriggins. Consent agenda approved. <br />Authority Business <br />A. Show Cause Hearing — Union Jack Liquor Inc. d/b/a Union Jack <br />Liquor — Retail Liquor Store License — 1160 South Boulder Road — <br />3/13/18 Incident <br />Chairperson Carlson opened the show cause hearing. Adam Gollin, special <br />prosecutor for the Authority, introduced himself. Michael Rennich, attorney <br />for Union Jack introduced himself. <br />Mr. Gollin noted he and Mr. Rennich would like to request a continuance on <br />this hearing. There was a possibility of another violation at the <br />establishment, Mr. Rennich had just received discovery on this case and <br />there was a civilian witness unable to attend. <br />Mr. Rennich noted he had no objection and suggested this hearing be <br />continued until July 23, 2018 to give the Authority time to review the alleged <br />other incident and set both for the July 23 meeting if the other incident <br />requires it. <br />Authority members discussed the request for continuance. <br />
