5. Fire doors after the minimum elevated temperature has disabled the unlatching mechanism in <br />accordance with listed fire door test procedures. <br />6. Doors serving roofs not intended to be occupied shall be permitted to be locked, preventing <br />entry to the building from the roof. <br />• Sec. 15.12.090. - Appendices adopted with the 2018 International Fire Code are as follow and shall be <br />used as needed by the City and Fire District to meet the intent of the International Fire Code: <br />o Appendix B Fire -Flow Requirements for Buildings <br />o Appendix C Fire Hydrant Locations and Distribution <br />o Appendix D Fire Apparatus Access Roads <br />o Appendix E Hazard Categories <br />o Appendix I Noncompliant Conditions <br />• Sec. 15.12.100. - Copies available. <br />At least one copy of the 2018 International Fire Code, as amended herein, certified to be true and accurate, <br />shall be available for public inspection at the office of the Building Safety Division, between the hours of <br />8:00 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The city clerk shall at all times maintain a <br />reasonable supply of copies of the code available for purchase by the public at a moderate price. There is a <br />free electronic copy online at !laps://codes.icasa fe.org/puloLio/oolleotiovLs/I-codes <br />• Sec. 15.12.110. - Fire lane requirements. <br />Refer to Appendix D of the International Fire Code, as amended. <br />A. In addition to the requirements of Appendix D, no platted street in multifamily, industrial, business <br />or commercial development ending in a cul-de-sac or some other design shall exceed 300 feet in <br />length without providing a secondary fire lane access. <br />B. In addition to the requirements of Appendix D, no platted street in a single-family area ending in a <br />cul-de-sac or some other design shall exceed 500 feet in length without providing a secondary fire <br />lane access. <br />C. In addition to the requirements of Appendix D, single-family residences which are located more <br />than 150 feet from the closest public street right-of-way shall provide a fire lane from the street to <br />the residence. <br />• Sec. 15.12.120. - Fire lane specifications. <br />Refer to Appendix D of the International Fire Code, as amended from time to time. In addition to the <br />requirements of Appendix D, an emergency access fire lane which is required to be installed into an area as <br />a secondary access must be as remote as possible from the main access and provide access to all parts of the <br />development.
