• Chapter 15.22 - 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings <br />• Sec. 15.22.010. - Adoption. <br />The 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Edition, published by the <br />International Code Council, 500 New Jersey Avenue, NW, 6th Floor, Washington, D.C. 20001 , is hereby <br />adopted by reference thereto and incorporated into and made a part of the city Code. The subject matter of <br />the 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is to provide the building official with <br />proper legal steps in abating dilapidated, defective buildings which endanger life, health, property and <br />public safety within concepts of fair play and justice in the City of Louisville, and providing for the issuance <br />of permits and collection of fees therefor. <br />• Sec. 15.22.020. - Section 101—Title. <br />Section 101 of the 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings Code is amended <br />to insert "the City of Louisville" so the section will read: <br />101 Title. These regulations shall be known as the 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of <br />Dangerous Buildings of the City of Louisville, and maybe cited as such, and will be referred to herein <br />as the City of Louisville's 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. <br />• Sec. 15.22.100. - Copies available. <br />At least one copy of this Code, as amended herein, certified to be true and accurate, shall be available for <br />public inspection at the office of the Building Safety Division, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4 p.m., <br />Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The city clerk shall at all times maintain a reasonable supply of <br />copies of the code available for purchase by the public at a moderate price. <br />t <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
