2018 International Building Code <br />2. The reactions resulting from the dead load and live load specified in Table 1607.1, or the snow load <br />specified in Section 1608, in accordance with Section 1605, acting on the cantilevered portion of the deck, and <br />no live load or snow load on the remaining portion of the deck. <br />• Sec. 15.04.080. - Section 1609 added—Wind loads. <br />The following Section 1609.3.2 is added to the 2018 International Building Code: <br />Section 1609.3.2. Wind Speeds. The minimum basic wind speed for determining wind pressure <br />shall be in accordance with this Section 1609 and the Colorado Front Range Gust Map Study ASCE 7- <br />05. <br />• Sec. 15.04.090. - Section 1608.2 amended—Ground snow loads. <br />Section 1608.2 of the 2018 International Building Code is amended by the addition of the following <br />sentence inserted at the end of the section: <br />The ground snow load shall be 30 pounds per square foot. <br />• Sec. 15.04.100. - Section 1809.5 amended—Frost protection. <br />Item 1 of Section 1809.5 of the 2018 International Building Code shall read as follows: <br />1. <br />Extending 36 inches below finished grade; <br />• Sec.15.40.105.- Section 3001.1 Scope is amended as follows: <br />3001.1 Scope. <br />This chapter governs the design, construction, installation, alteration and repair of elevators and conveying <br />systems and their components. All elevators that serve accessible residential units shall have secondary <br />means of power such as a generator to maintain operation while primary power is down. <br />• Sec.15.04.108. -The Following Appendix's where adopted with the 2018 IBC: <br />o Appendix C <br />o Appendix F <br />o Appendix 1 <br />o Appendix J <br />o Appendix K <br />o Appendix N <br />• Sec. 15.04.110. - Copies available. <br />At least one copy of the International Building Code and one copy of each secondary code pertaining <br />thereto, as amended herein, all certified to be true and accurate, shall be available for public inspection at <br />the office of the Building Safety Division between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />
