Description & Proposed Funding: Equipment/Project Description: The Northern Colorado Water Conservancy operates and maintains the Southern Water Supply Project (SWSP). The SWSP provides the delivery mechanism for the City's CB -T and Windy Gap water supplies. In 2001, Northern began the process of adding capacity to the SWSP. The final phase of this process is for the construction of the Eastern Pump Plant. Cost allocation methodology for projects with more than one funding source: Project has only one funding source. Project revenue or grants, if any, that will support the project and the impacts to the operating budget: No grants have been identified at this time. Operational and maintenance costs will be charged similarly to the way the City pays for other water it receives from the NCWCD. Failure to participate will result in the forfeiture of the City's increased capacity in the SWSP, reducing the City's capacity from 7.2 cfs to 4.2 cfs preventing the full utilization of the Windy Gap and CB -T.
