This discussion will lead to the
planning for the new Rec Center business/operating plan.
Golf Course Staff Update and Dashboard —
David Baril led discussion of first quarter dashboard. Topics included playable
days (official definition includes factors such as temperature, wind, and
precipitation), which are budgeted at 300 playable days per year. This year the
first quarter only had 52 playable days. The course has already had nine days
with 200 player equivalents, compared with 18 total for 2017.
David left following this discussion.
Staff Update and Construction Update —
Construction is still on schedule. However, all eight budgeted bad weather days
have been used. Additional bad weather days may cut into contingencies.
Memory Square is still on target for the June 8th Grand Opening. If possible,
there will be a soft opening sooner.
The Rec Center is scheduled to be completed December 17th. As sections are
completed, they will open.
The FFE2 package has three complete bids, and one incomplete bid. The lowest
bid is $239,000.
